Timothy G. Sanders, MD is Partner and Medical Director of NationalRad, a nationwide provider of academic-level, subspecialty radiology services based in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Dr. Sanders is regarded as one of the foremost authorities in the field of musculoskeletal imaging. He holds academic positions at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland and retired from the U.S. Air Force with the rank of Colonel in 2003.

Dr. Sanders is a national and international lecturer to both radiologists and orthopaedic surgeons and has written extensively in the field of musculoskeletal radiology. Most recently, Dr. Sanders co-authored the landmark textbook Presentation, Imaging and Treatment of Common Musculoskeletal Conditions: MRI- Arthroscopy Correlation, with Mark D. Miller, MD, the S. Ward Casscells Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Dr. Sanders also serves as manuscript reviewer for several organizations and publications, including the prestigious Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (JBJS).
